Wright House is one of three dwellings
offering offering eco friendly, traditional,
historic and unique luxury accommodation
reflecting the colonial era.
Other accommodation include Pickett Cottage
(yet to renovate)
and Kelly House. (Further accommodation is
also available at "Beeches on High" which
sleeps 10). Set as a back drop is Spring
Creek with 150yr old poplars towering high 
                                       in the sky, offering glorious shade, the
                                       rustling of wind through the leaves and 
                                       a home to a family of kookaburras.

Kelly & Wright luxury accommodation have been named after the historic
20round bare fisted fight that Ned Kelly had with "wild" Wright over a horse
theft that Ned was jailed for after he brought it from Wright. The fight
took place on this property at the rear of the Imperial Hotel that once
thrived here in its hey day.

Wright House is very private and has been constructed as a lower floor
(fire rated & heavily sound insulated) to Kelly House and is totally
independent luxury & romantic accommodation getaway escape.
It has been meticulously constructed using recycled windows, including
lead lights, doors, baltic flooring, dado baltic lining boards, kitchen bench
tops and many treasures from the 1800's to give it the charm and character
of 19th century architecture to blend in with Kelly House above. 
When looking for Beechworth accommodation you can't
beat the warmth & feel of an original colonial home,
that this has been created to reflect in the finest of workmanship & quality
furnishings & materials throughout!

It comprises of 2 large bedrooms each with en-suites. One of these en-suites
(with a large dble spa) serves also as a semi en-suite to the end of the extra
large living area, with a sofa bed for an additional 2 people.
Each of the two bedrooms has additional bedding ,one with a sofa bed and
the other a 3/4 single bed.
It also includes satellite TV with a 106cm plasma screen.

Wright House at Beechworth boasts great family style accommodation
whether it be one family plus extended family or 2 families. It also suits
perfectly 2 couples offering an en-suite each.
Heating consists of a fan forced wood combustion heater plus a split system
A/C and heater.

With the environment and carbon emissions in mind we are also Eco friendly
offering tank water servicing all toilets and garden, and solar hot water
servicing up to 20 showers per day from the Sun.

We are also wired up for a future grid electricity solar system to be added
where we hope to provide the majority of electricity used during your stay.
